These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Gymini mobile application ("App") provided by Shun Takenaka ("we," "us," or "our"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the App.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.

3. Service Description

Gymini is an AI-powered fitness training application that provides:

  • AI Training Assistants: Three AI characters (Rookie, Seven, Muscle) providing personalized training support
  • Workout Tracking: Record sets, weights, reps, and rest times
  • Progressive Overload: Data-driven suggestions for next workouts
  • AI Chat: Training-related Q&A and consultation
  • Analytics: Visualization and analysis of training data
  • Custom Menus: AI-generated personalized training programs

4. Account Registration

4.1 Account Creation

  • An account is required to use the App
  • You must provide accurate and current information
  • Users under 18 years old may not use the App

4.2 Account Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining password confidentiality
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account use
  • You are responsible for all activities under your account

5. Paid Services (Subscriptions)

Some features may be offered as paid subscriptions (e.g., Unlimited AI Chat for JPY 500/month; please refer to in-app pricing for the latest rates).

  • You can cancel at any time, but due to renewal and billing processing, if you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the next renewal date, the next period may be charged.
  • Purchases cannot be canceled, and the service remains available until the end of the current period.

6. User Conduct

6.1 Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe intellectual property rights
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the App
  • Circumvent security features
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Harass other users
  • Interfere with App functionality

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App and its content belong to us or our licensors.

8. Privacy and Data

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about data collection and use. We may use training records and AI chat content in non-personally identifiable form to improve the Service and AI features.

9. Third-Party Services

The App uses:

  • Google Gemini AI: AI chat and menu generation
  • Firebase: Authentication, database, storage, analytics

10. Disclaimers

10.1 Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: This App is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.

  • Consult a physician before starting any exercise program
  • AI suggestions are general information, not personalized medical advice
  • Stop exercising immediately if you feel pain or discomfort

10.2 Service Warranty

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

11. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Damages arising from App use or inability to use
  • Data loss or corruption
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Injuries or health issues from training

12. Service Changes and Termination

We may modify or terminate the App at any time with or without notice.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive court of first instance for disputes relating to these Terms.

  • Provision Timing: Available immediately after payment is completed
  • Cancellation: Cancel via each store's subscription management screen
  • Refunds: No refunds in principle. Refund availability follows each store's refund policy
